Coaching Agreement & Terms of Service

Welcome to The Clarity Practice PTE. LTD. (Registration No: 202344810G). These Coaching Agreement and Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our coaching services, website, and related offerings. By engaging with us or submitting the onboarding form, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Coaching Agreement

Purpose of Coaching

Coaching is a professional development process that supports reflection, growth, and clarity. Coaching is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, or consulting. If you need such services, you will be referred to an appropriate professional.

Roles and Responsibilities

The coach partners with you through a thought-provoking, creative process that supports your self-discovery and action. You, the client, remain fully responsible for your own decisions, choices, actions, and results.

Confidentiality

All coaching conversations are confidential, unless disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of harm. Notes or recordings (if you consent) are stored securely and never shared externally without your permission.

Commitment

Coaching works best when sessions start on time and when you engage openly and follow agreed practices between sessions. Outcomes are not guaranteed. Progress depends on your own effort and context.

Boundaries

Coaching is future-focused and does not provide legal, financial, or medical advice.
The coach does not make decisions for you; they support you in exploring perspectives, setting goals, and taking aligned action.

Consent

By submitting the onboarding form, you consent to these Terms electronically. This constitutes a binding agreement under the Singapore Electronic Transactions Act. If there is any conflict between this Coaching Agreement and the general Terms of Service, the Coaching Agreement prevails for coaching services.


Terms of Service

2. Services Offered

We provide coaching services in the areas of:

  • Mindfulness and wellbeing

  • Strategic clarity and leadership

  • Executive coaching

  • Visual coaching and journaling

  • General life and personal coaching

Services are delivered online or in person. Coaching programmes may evolve over time. Clients will be notified of material changes that affect their experience.

3. Free Discovery Call

A complimentary twenty-minute discovery call is available once per individual. This session is non-transferable and is intended to assess mutual fit. Missed calls without notice may result in forfeiture of eligibility for future free sessions.

4. Session Structure and Bookings

Standard coaching sessions are sixty minutes. Sessions are booked through Cal.com, HubSpot, or another scheduling system selected by The Clarity Practice. By booking, you also agree to the terms of the relevant booking platform.

5. Payments

All payments are due upfront.
Payment is accepted via PayNow or credit card.
Instalment plans are not currently offered.

5A. Session Validity

Purchased coaching sessions must be used within the validity period calculated from the purchase date. Validity is:
(a) one to six sessions: six months
(b) seven to twelve sessions: twelve months

Sessions not used within the relevant validity period will expire and be forfeited without refund.
This validity period applies whether sessions are attended online or in person.

6. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

You may reschedule or cancel a session at least twenty-four hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Changes made within twenty-four hours will result in the session being forfeited.

Except where required by Singapore law, no refunds will be provided once the first coaching session or programme commencement has taken place. Programme commencement occurs on the earlier of:

(a) attendance at the first scheduled session, or
(b) your use of any coaching product included in the programme.

If you don't attend a scheduled session and don't give adequate notice within the cancellation window, the session will be treated as used and forfeited.

7. Client Responsibilities

Coaching is a collaborative process. Clients are expected to attend sessions on time, participate fully, and complete agreed practices. No outcomes are guaranteed. Progress depends on the client’s effort and circumstances.

8. Session Recordings

Sessions may be recorded with your explicit consent at the start of each session. Recordings are used for reflection and internal coaching improvement. They will not be shared externally without permission.

9. Confidentiality and Data

All personal and session information is confidential, unless disclosure is required by law.

Your data may be stored or processed using CRM, email, transcription, or scheduling platforms used by The Clarity Practice. Providers may change from time to time, but we only use reputable platforms with appropriate security safeguards.

We comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act. Your data will only be used for coaching purposes and, if you opt in, for marketing updates.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by The Clarity Practice, including session frameworks, visual tools, and resources, are protected intellectual property. Clients may not reproduce, share, or resell these materials without written consent.

11. Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms at our discretion. Any changes take effect immediately upon posting. Clients will be notified of material updates. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. In case of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through mediation via the Singapore Mediation Centre. If unresolved, the matter will be referred to the courts of Singapore.

13. Website Use

By using https://www.theclaritypractice.asia you agree to comply with all applicable laws and these Terms. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or decompile content on the site

  • Transmit unlawful, harassing, or spam content

  • Interfere with the website’s operation

  • Harvest user data or violate privacy rights

14. Accuracy of Materials

The content on this site is provided for general information only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees as to completeness or timeliness. Information may change.

15. Links to Third-Party Sites

We may link to third-party websites for convenience. We do not control or endorse these sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Use them at your discretion.

16. Right to Terminate Access

We may suspend or terminate your access to our site or services at any time, especially if you breach these Terms.

17. Severance

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that portion will be severed, and the remainder will remain in effect.
